Francesco Trapani
President of LVMH Watches & Jewelry

Francesco Trapani was born in Rome in 1957.

After a degree in Economics from the University of Naples he studied Business Administration at New York University.

The great grandson of Sotirio Bulgari, the founder of the eponymous brand, Francesco Trapani became Chief Executive Officer of Bulgari in 1984. He guided the Company’s diversification in watches, perfumes, leather goods and accessories and led its solid international expansion. He also oversaw Bulgari’s initial public offering.

Bulgari joined the LVMH group in 2011. Francesco Trapani was appointed President of the LVMH Watches & Jewelry division and also became a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of LVMH.
