Domaine Chandon Australia was established in 1986 by Moët & Chandon in the heart of Yarra Valley. Green Point was so named as it was one of the last places in the Yarra Valley to remain green during the summer months. The cool climate in the South East corner of Australia is ideal for the production of high quality still and sparkling wines.

Chandon uses the same three grapes found in Champagne—Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay—and traditional winemaking techniques to create exceptionally refined and elegant sparkling wines. Thanks to the temperate climate of Yarra Valley, the estate’s still wines, including the celebrated Green Point Shiraz, stand out among those from other Australian wine-producing regions for their balance and finesse.

Chandon is a leader in the Australian super-premium sparkling wine segment. Its still and sparkling wines are exported under the Green Point brand.
